You can add any language to keyboard in "Настройки - Главная - Язык и ввод - Виртуальная клавиатура - Клавиатура Android (AOSP) - Язык"
Большое спасибо!
I'm Dutch by the way but I'm trying to learn Russian and I love Russian Pop music

Fiio offers the "LC-Q1M7" case that is advertised as the perfect solution to pair the Q1 MKIi with the M7. I fail to see the point for that, if you pair the 2 via USB you circumvent the ESS Sabre DAC inside the M7. The only advantage is "more power" from the Q1 and Bluetooth Features from the M7? How does the 9018Q2C compare with the AK4452?

Lots of questions...

Edit...
after some reasearch, aptxHD and LDAC alone make it worth the price compared to a smartphone with those features, and that will be missing the Q1 amping power. I see where that goes now.

Edit Edit...
It seems that LDAC is baked into Android 8.0 and for example all Xiaomi devices that come with Oreo will support it. That changes things again since a Redmi 6 pro can be had for much less than 250€ and is arguably more modular (Camera, apps, can run viper4android for BT and the Q1 MKII for balanced output, etc).

Nice reasoning and all but here's some reasoning of mine (not pointed at you but in general).
The whole point of buying a separate player is the better audio electronics+firmware and no interference from WiFi and GSM.
If the sound from your phone is good enough for you there's no point in buying an expensive headphone too.
And every smartphone has more than enough power to drive the cheap headphones.
LDAC is just a gimmick with the cheap audio electronics in most smartphones.
I see so many pictures of DAP-AMP combinations with (often cheap) IEM's connected to them it's hilarious. It's just for looks.

If you want better quality audio than your phone the M7 is an excellent choice (try the offer with the F9SE included, VERY nice!)
If you need more power, I'd say don't buy an amp and look silly but buy a Fiio X7 or something like that.

(I fear there'll be a lot of flak coming my way  )

Even the sales guys at the audio companies that sell no headphones or speakers at all will admit that transducers have a FAR larger impact on sound quality than the solid state components that, at worst, are only very nearly transparent instead of completely transparent. DACs and amplifiers have far FAR less impact on sound than the other things in the chain.

If you give me an Android device with good EQ and DSP I'm going to take that all day long if my phone doesn't offer the same. I also use UM Merlins, so I need lower output impedance than many phones have. So sorry, you're off the mark here.

And every smartphone has more than enough power to drive the cheap headphones.

Sensitivity and price are not directly correlated. My cell phone can drive my Grado PS1000 cans with no issue.

LDAC is just a gimmick with the cheap audio electronics in most smartphones.

LDAC is a codec for Bluetooth. It's digital. That means that you're not actually going through the "Cheap audio electronics" that you're so worried about. The conversion to analog and driving of the headphones has to be done on the receiving end.

Perhaps.

My bad.

@FiiO
Any chance to level up the EQ bands from +-6 to +-12? Sometimes I use different headphones and therefore the bass / treble is too less from time to time....
I read in different boards many users wishes a better EQ....
Dear friend,

We have report your suggestion to the engineer. Will assess about that.

Best regards

Unlike some other DAPs, it doesn't appear that the M7 has an option for formatting a sdxc card on the unit. Am I missing something here, or is everyone just using their computers to format the card prior to use in the M7? If so, what format is everyone using? I am having some issues with getting data to the unit, so I am curious. Would love to reference this in a manual, but FiiO has yet to post a full user manual on the support page for this product...just a quick start user guide.

sorry we will add this feature in the future. The M7 is used an Exynos 7270 which used in smart watch and the original system has not includes this features.

I am having some other issues - mainly surrounding music and sdxc cards with the M7, is this thread the best was to try to get some answers to my problems?

Dear friend,

You could send email to support@fiio.net or PM me about the detail. Thanks in advanced!

How about making the EQ work correctly over a bluetooth connection? Apart from the fact it does very little and kills the output by 5 - 6 db when you just switch it on without adjustment.

the system will become slow when the EQ work during the bluetooth transmit. about the EQ, we are developing a smart EQ which will not decrease the volume when EQ is on but it is not available right now.

I thought decreasing the volume when Eq is on is a good thing? In my experience if the volume is not decreased then clipping may occur

yes, in most situation, we have to decrease the volume in case the output is clipping.

remember the function of an EQ - the bands increasing the dB level, hence you must prevent a possible clipping by decreasing the pre-gain
@FiiO
If you envelop a new smarter EQ. Can you implement a variable gain control? In addition, don't forget the level up / down by +-/12 for every band.

Hello! What about decreasing usage of memory by system and increasing free memory? Sometimes tracks are switched more longer because of lack of memory. And it would be great, if it is possible to make radio sensivity about 5µPa or higher
