well, i want to get a nwe audio rig for my mp3 player. i currently have a muvo2 fm and am planning on buying a viliv p2 in a month or so. what i want to know is how would i get the best sound out of my system? i am planning on buying westone um1's and koss ksc 75's. i would like to know:
what format do i encode to? (losless?? vbr mp3??)
what quality do i encode to? (i guess this depends on the format)
i have a bunch of unprotected mp3's and wma's that are from napster. they are encoded to 192kbs, is there any way i can get these to higher quality?
what type of amp od i need? (i can build it, i don't want to spend alot of money)
i don't mind buying a new mp3 player as long as it isn't an ipod. i have a large hate for them and being way too expensive and the lack of features. rockbox on this is a plus. i am thinking about a iriver h3xx.
well, that's about it. i would be much obliged if you tell me what you think and/or tear my setup apart by saying "this doesn't go with this!!! you must be the most dense being on the oplanet for believing....." etc.
