Hello... Surely somebody must have already posted pictures on HF, but here are mines :
The second(or might be the third?)one I had the chance to buy new old stock, the Mdr-v5 are sharing same headband conception than the V-7 that are so magical sounding cans. Except for the earpads falling appart, all is fine on these...
They do have 30mm drivers with powerfull magnets. A picture of the specs sheet:
The carton sleeve is actually silver and slides at the back of the plastic blister of the original Sony packaging.
My first real headphones were the Mdr-v1 that my parents gave me after my "walkman" mdr-006 broke.
I also recently found a NOS version of these, bought for around 15 bucks from the same seller of the V-5, here in France.

P.S. :
Mdr-V4 is foldable and with a spiral not a straight cord as the V-5.
The wire does not route into the hanger arms of the cups.
But I am pretty sure they do have the same specs regarding drivers and thus share the same SS.
