Hello,

I'm a proud owner of a pair of Sony MDR-SA5000 headphones which I have had now for several years. A short while ago while I was listening to them the right channel dropped out and has not worked since. The left still works fine and is in good working order. I'm in Scotland at the moment and I have tried searching around for a sony authorized dealer who would work on them, but alas I have had no luck. I really want to get these fixed, but I have no idea how I'm going to without a service center. Can anyone advise me to a good hifi shop in the UK who would fix them or other steps I could take? I would be much obliged.

Thanks

The Sa5000s cable usually breaks at the Y or at the driver they are fixable.
