i have a dead pair of e838's and they go with these protruding rubber silent caps that are so comfortable. just a few minutes ago, i was thinking of putting them on my e888's but i'm pranoid if it'll lose or gain any sound quality. has anybody tried these? i know i could do my own comparison but i kinda trust your ears here more than mine (newbie ears
). deaf me, i can't even tell the difference when using the foamies and not. but i'm picky with quality (stop smirking).
