lol, D-E888 = D-EJ825, D-E999 = D-EJ925, D-E01 = D-EJ01. It was the last year they did that. LINKIE

To add more confusion, the D-E880 is the same thing as the D-EJ815, and there was the D-E885 which was the generation before it, and the D-E805 before then...it makes NO sense what-so-ever, lol

So did they ever come out with the rumores E999s or was it all so much nothingness?

Well, I haven't heard anything since, and we pretty much cover earbuds thoroughly over at the t-board...hmm, I also didn't realize how old this thread was, lol.

The silver ones are made in Japan, while the gold ones are made in Malaysia. Generally, the Silver ones are more expensive.
