I've been sitting on he fence between changing my HD800S with Audeze LCD-4z and adding instead a bookshelf speaker. Lately I am leaning toward pairing McIntosh MHA 150 headphone amp (50W, 8 ohms speaker impedance) with Dynaudio Special Forty keeping my HD800S.

I am wondering if anyone out there has tried this pairing. I am just not sure whether MHA150 would have no problem bringing out the maximum the speaker has to offer.
