I am planning on bringing the W3000ANV for low impedance, the HD800 for high impedance and the HE-6 for power hungry.

If they allow me....
I asked McIntosh if the amp could have a problem connecting a 50 ohm resistance in the speakers tab and they never addressed that question.
I guess it should not because I have been driving them out of my 50 watts Threshold with no issues and sound wonderful. It just would be great to have one amp for all of them.

This is what Ron Cornelius of Mcintosh said when asked about the HE6:
You will have many options with the MHA100. You can chose a higher impedance output like 150 to 600 ohms which will increase the output of MHA100 or you can use the speaker outputs which we rate at 50 watts into 8 ohms.

So I guess you could say it's officially approved by Mcintosh to use the speaker outputs :)

I am also interested in speaker output performance on HE6. Would really appreciate you impressions.

Haven't seen his answer on that before. Thanks!

Got a chance for a listening session of the mha100 at a dealer in nyc today. Listened to LCD-x, hd700, hd800, and the Beyer T1. Needless to say a pretty awesom 30 minutes in headphone heaven. Sadly don't have the funds to buy any of those right now, but couldn't pass up the chance. Was most impressed with LCD-x , but everything sounded great. Listened to the same Bach Cello suite through all the cans. Amp seemed able to drive any of them to listening levels beyond anything I could tolerate. Not sure of the digital file type, but the dac seemed to do well with all the tracks I tried. Unit has that classic Mc look. I was definitely impressed but admittedly this was my first time hearing some of the cans at this price point. Ohh to have $8000 to drop on a system tomorrow! If you are ever in NYC look up Al and Stereo Exchange and he'll let you have so e fun in the listening room and give you some completely frank and unbiased opinions to boot - " really anything in here is a waste to listening to after you have tried the Audeze"

I am getting excited about going to the dealer tomorrow night to audition the MHA100. The only problem is that I can not find my wallet! My wife most likely hide it from me

I hope there will be not too many people at the shop so I can spend good amount of time with the unit and the 3 cans I am planning on bringing.

very very interested in your listening results...

Indeed I placed a pre-order for a EC4-45 (see bellow), but... this McIntosh is also tempting.
