McDonald's or Subway

I eat at MacDonalds about once every 60 days. The interesting part is how that food makes you feel? And the last time I simply ate a Big-Mack and found the effects euphoric like an illegal drug. I truly wonder what’s in MacDonalds food? Something special?

Every MacDonalds designs it’s menu for that specific part of the world the franchise is located in. Here though we get the Mars menu? :)

Yeah, makes sense because they'd lose from local competition that knows the market better. Different cultures have a traditional taste and makes ense to adjust to those tastes.

European Mcdonalds have additional European type pastries and deli in their menu. Their idea of breakfast is traditionally different than how Mcdonalds represents it.

In 2014 MacDonalds Indonesia had the Prosperity Burger. But the raw onions were something else? So strange!

I didn’t realize how big Subway was until a few years ago when I saw one in Brazil. I was kind of shocked a little.

Strangely I’ve seen them in airports all over the world. They have the same regular menu everywhere too, if I remember right?

Though the restaurants vary in size dramatically.

I told worked at MacDonalds when I was 16. They have a full training regimen, where you watched filmstrips in the 1970s. Many have giant basements and after your done learning they let you go to work where your skill is being able to answer the timing alarms to take stuff out when cooked.

There is a documentary called Food Inc. which goes on to explain how USA farming and meat packing followed the mechanization of MacDonalds. How MacDonalds was the first restaurant in the world to take and utilize Henry Fords assembly line process. How farming in general became mechanized.

This burger is actually really, really nice. It's a shame that they are only sold once a year, about a month before and after the Chinese New Year period.

Oh and, Macs all the way.

Glad you liked them. Last one I had was along time ago. Yes, though they do have better ice cream than Kentucky Fried, and Big-Macs are amazing always! The secret sauce in just thousand island and sweet pickles but it rules! Funny that at one time the Big-Mac was big? Now smaller than some hamburgers.

Looks like McRibs. I'll admit I liked the McRib eventhough it was Frankenstein food. Doesn't McDonalds have chefs and scientists work on the flavoring?

The way it looks on advertisements looks delish, but in real life, it's not so glamorous lookin. You can tell from those images which is the advertisement.

They used to come without the bun too, I remember.
