may I ask ,if using IEM like UM1 , SE310 etc.

did E5 match them?

i'm afraid teh driving power of E5 is too big , and the hiss (noise) is too big

as IEM is sensitive

I'm a UM1 user looking for a portable amp for my sound card (se-90)

the volume increase from any stock player and a E5 is minimal increase but the bass boost is nice, clean and powerful and worth it if you like alot of bass. But if your looking to amplify a computer(sound card) you might want to step it up to something higher quality. And no the hiss on E5 isn't bad at all nor with they "overpower" your iem's ... most iems are pretty strong and can deafen you when overpowered before breaking.
