We all know the av710 is really used for the Wolfson DAC or it's optical out. But in terms of recording, how does it measure up?
May be wrong website/forum, but does anyone RECORD with the Chaintech AV-710?

The AV-710 is nothing special for recording - the VT1616 isn't that great after all. IMHO a Live! 24-Bit makes a better budget recording card (48 and 96 kHz only, but then having 24/96 recording in a $25 card is pretty neat to begin with).
