I was going to buy a Master 9 amp but then I found out about Taurus MKII and now I'm not sure anymore :). Anyone had a chance to hear both? What are the differences between the two? Which one would you recommend and why? I'm using LCD-XC headphones.

I'd pop into the Summit-Fi section and ask over there in all the pertinent threads... those rich snobs never come into the Intro threads! (kidding, of course - we all stick to our areas because there's only so much time in the day!)

Couldn't find the Taurus MKII thread in my one minute of looking. I'm a big fan of Audio-GD. The M9 is supposed to be one of the most versatile and neutral TOTL amps you can get and would be my first pick for an endgame amp, maybe with some competition from the Vio V281

. Kingwa is updating many models, I'd email him and see if he has a new 2015 release coming out soon for the M9.... 99% of the time he just puts in bigger transformers for newer models, which I doubt does much, but it might be worth checking?
