Finally got to hear the masskobo 465 yesterday at a private meet paired with the wavedream signature balanced and susvara and Just wow. The low end on susvara was just something else. My jaw dropped everytime the bass dropped. This amp has more grip on susvara's drivers than the Zahl HM1 which was already super impressive. This and aic-10 are the two best amps I've heard for susvara. Warm, rich, amazing tonal density with crazy low end. Very very impressive

I just realized Mass Kobo is 17K on Mimic audio but on the Japanese Mass Kobo main site it only cost 14k usd.

So is Mimic adding 3K for being a middle man? I mean you can just order directly from the Mass Kobo website…

@DJJEZ This or riviera best for both sus and 1266 tc?
I will come back to this question as I'm borrowing an aic-10 this week and gonna put it through its paces with both 1266 and susvara. I didn't get to listen to 1266 on it at our meet

Would you be able to elaborate on which ways are they better? And how by how much?

Pure tubes don't have the iron grip on the drivers that hybrid amps provide to the Sus. You'll trade off that tactility for a slightly softer sound with any transformer coupled amps
