I'm in.  I'm not a big fan of IEM's but I use them for travel and occasionally at work.  This should be a huge upgrade from my 5+ year old HiFiMan RE0's.  If I don't like them, I'm sure I can sell them at or close to my cost.  I don't think I'm risking much here.

Just joined the drop.  We'll see in three months how they sound.  Hopefully, they are similar to the Savant.

Did you guys order the lighting cable?
It seems not so useful.
We all should use an amp instead of direct plugging in a phone.

Could @FullCircle shed some light on the specs of the lightning cable? I've seen people asking whether there are inline DACs and whether there is a Type C option. I'm not familiar with this new stuff at all tbh.

Well that was much easier than getting the HD6xx.  Unfortunately now I have to wait to try these out.  Good thing Ill have the HD6xx soon to plug into my Valhalla 2.

I wonder what the Noble X will sound like running off the Valhalla 2 or DX80?   Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I don't use IEMs very often, but I am contemplating these.  I am currently using Audio Technica IM70s (which I discovered here) and have been very happy with them.  I assume these would be in a completely different zip code?  For what it's worth, I look at the IM70s as an IEM version of my T50RP MK3s in my current headphone lineup.  That being said, I would assume the Noble X would be like the X00 then?

Can anyone who has / has heard either the IM70s or the some of the better Audio Technica IEMs weigh in as to what improvements I'd be hearing with the Noble X?

The cable will have its own dac/amp inside, and at any rate, the X doesn't require external units to sound great.

No, the cable is just a cable, there is no DAC/Amp or control buttons.   Basically the primary function is a direct connection to the i-phone without the need for an adapter

Edit: That would mean there would need to be analog pass through on an iOS device, since that's not been documented as part of the lightning spec (that I know of) there has to be a small dac/amp/adc chip in the lightning connector cable.
