Hi folks-
Trying to choose between the 2 for my Massdrop HiFiman HE4xx planar. The parameters being:
1. Better soundstage and instrument separation. (Listen to a lot of acoustic stuff). Top end needs to be airy.
2. Less fatigue.
3. Tube-y sound.

The CTH is right now $175, while the Vali 2 is $149.

From reading the CTH thread the other day I saw a couple remarks in this vein.

Basically- CTH was considered the warmer tube-y sound. Vali2 is more neutral.

I have not heard either, but I am fairly certain this discussion happened in the CTH thread.
