I've been using a Little Dot DAC_I and Little Dot MKIV SE setup for my AKG K701s for quite a few years now and I've been pretty happy, sadly the DAC has gone to meet its maker and instead of spending a lot of money to ship it to/from China for repairs I figured I'd get something new instead. Been looking at both the Marantz HD-DAC1 and Pioneer U-05 which are available locally for roughly the same money. I realize these are rather new products, but maybe someone has some input to help a poor guy decide.
Most likely I'd look to upgrade my headphones sometime in the future to a pair of AKG K712 Pros, but we'll see, still very happy with my K701s.
