I am planning to buy a CD player with headphone jack.
 
Can anyone share with me any difference between  marantz cd6000 series or cd5000 series. Can they driver headphone like HD650, HD600  fully? What if it is er4s AKG headphone?
 
I also find some cd players like denon DCD-710AE .
Can anyone share any other options.

The current generation differences between the CD5004 and CD6004 is the DAC chip, power supply and the CD6004 has an USB input. Other than that they're the same. The headphone jack (I had the CD5003) did and adequate job of driving headphones but it was far from stellar. I'd use a dedicated amp for that.

I have the CD6003. It seems to have plenty of power, but as the above poster said, its not ideal in terms of sonic quality.
