It's been a rough month. First my Denon 2200 started getting finicky about redbood disks, and now my Marantz 6100 is having trouble spinning at the correct speed (it's slowing down). The problem is not constant, but it happens often enough that it is annoying.

My vinyl collection is not huge, but I have enough albums that I do like having it.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether and how this can be fixed? I'm not much of a "DIY" guy.

I do know that the belt could probably use replacement.

I'm really tempted to upgrade to a better vinyl rig.

Thanks for any suggestions,

First port of call if it is a beltdrive TT.
The 6100 is not the greatest of turntables, so be prepared to receive pittance if you sell it. If you have 50 records or more, then a better TT should be on your shopping list.
