Hey guys...
I dropped by goodwill and was browsing through the electronics section. They had a few old amps.
I bought a Marantz 2275 that is in fabulous shape for 40 bucks. The only problem I have had out of it is a dusty volume knob.

Did I get a good deal?

They had some Mcintosh and some vintage Pioneer stuff too. The mcintosh has some light bulbs or something in it. sticking out of the top. It was 10 bucks.

Oh and some beautiful vintage Jensen electrostatic speakers for like 5 bucks. Are they any good?

You believe me? I'm honored.

Still didnt answer my question.

He thinks you're lying, and trying to cause a stir. A 'troll' is someone that doesn't fit into the community--- the kid with the big ears in a class of children with perfect earlobes.

Yes, $40 for a Marantz 2275 would be pretty decent even if it did not initially work. A 2275 in good operating and cosmetic condition will fetch anywhere from $150 to $300. If they truly had some McIntosh gear, I would return to that store as soon as it opened. Any piece of Mac gear, working or not, is worth at least $100 just for parts.
