I've recently purchased a Creative X-FI Titanium sound card along with ATH-AD700 headphone, my desktop audio experience is almost complete except I'm missing an amp. After searching on the internet, I realized that my dad has a vintage FM receiver, the Marantz 2220B, that that be used as an amp. I have no idea how good this thing would be as an amp so I was hoping someone could tell me, thanks.

I have the 2225 and 2270 and they work excellent as head phone amps. Crazy bass
