How much would the MAD EAR + set me back.
 
I have heard it works great with the RS1.
 
I think I have finally found my go to headphone....now thinking about an amp....even though these sound great coming straight from my Asus ST Essence soundcard

they don't go on sale all that often and they're a great buy for how they sound.  there's also a large thread dedicated to them.
