Had a great night last night seeing the Manics live in the Bluebird Theater in Denver. Small place - holds a couple of hundred or so ( a very small venue for such a band imho). Tickets were a steal at $15
Decent Support from Nico Vega, a bit shouty but not bad. The Manics however really rocked the joint. Awesome choice of songs (mostly a kind of greatest hits show) with a few from the new album - Journal for Plague Lovers.
Best part was at the end when we're standing about just chatting in the venue and James and Nicky came out and said hello to the fans. Very nice guys, polite and humble. I did get a pic taken with james, but my friends blackberry then decided it had no filse space, and deleted it. oh well
and a great time was had by all.. I'd recommend seeing them if you have the chance.
