Making my first setup that isn't just a 3.5mm into an iPod or a soundcard.
I bought the Audio Technica HA25d Amplifier/DAC to go with my AD2000s.
To use both, I plug the headphones in and use an optical cord (does quality matter? Where do I get?) to plug it into the optical out on my sound card?
If I wanted to use it only as an amplifier, I would use an analog interconnect and plug it into the Input ports on the HA25 and the output ports on the other DAC?
If I wanted to use it only as a DAC, I would use an analog interconnect and plug it into the OUTPUT ports on the HA25 and then plug into the input ports on another Amplifier?
I do not need any interconnect cable if I am using it as a combo.
Correct?
