I have TONS of CAT5 cable, yellow in color. Some grey (though it is older and not as shiny... hehe)- 25 feet. Probably 100+ feet of yellow. So... I was thinking... maybe revamp my headphone ICs, and maybe some HT ICs too. Only problem is I need connectors. Probably RCA on both ends, but to come form my comp to amp I need 1/8" to RCA.

So, I ask... what connectors are good? I am trying to do this on a fairly tight budget. Would RCA connectors from RadioShack with CAT5 be better than standard cables? I might order some Phoenix connectors from Parts Express... maybe. What would work best? Gold plated, of course.
