Its your people's attitude that turned me off from ever ordering another bottlehead product ever again and I always steer people away from your stuff when they ask.

What I gather he meant was to copy our design because he doesn't want to pay for it. A copy made with a different case, different iron and other parts isn't our product. If you have some unrelated beef with me you're welcome to message me, email or phone and I would be open to talking about it.

I can't believe this topic was revived since I started in 2015!

At the time I wanted to make an amp based on the bottlehead design, but for a rack mount unit.
At the time, and now, the cost for a bottlehead kit was quite high, and even higher after exchange rates.
I thought, "hey, I want to do something in a av-rack architecture, maybe I could save a few dollars sourcing exactly the components I'd want to use, and not extras on a wood/non-rack chassis."

In the end I gave up on the idea.

I never wanted to step on anyone's feet. I just wanted to "open source" this to arrive at an amp to fit my unique needs... if not highly unique... like how many rack mount tube amps have you seen these days? lol.
