I recently bought Mahler's Symphony No. 5 with Benjamin Zander and the Philharmonia Orchestra on SACD from Telarc, and it's a fantastic recording for the most part. However, when playing it on my Pioneer DV-563A, the sound cuts off very abruptly at the end, as if there's a defect in the disc and the last part simply isn't present there. It's a hybrid SACD, and the redbook layer does not exhibit this problem.
Do I have a bad disc, or could it be a defect in my player? Any ideas?
