Ok so i got my Magni 2 uber and my modi multibit today and i have a question about the preamp on the magni 2 going to my desktop speakers.  My question is does the magni operate as just a pass through in this mode?  Reason I ask is that if it is jjust a pass through i should be able to max the volume knob and then use the knob on my desktop speakers as it should be at just line out basically.  But when I do this i get crackling and pops so i turn it down some and its fine is this normal?  I would think it would be fine but maybe the output of the modi multibit is too high or is my magni defective?
