Great write up! I also really enjoyed the 1.7's the multiple times I heard them, I also preferred them to the B&W 800 series and the whole MartinLogan line up (excluding CLX) which is saying alot. I also really liked the 1.7 and 3.7 so much so that I'm definitely buying a set of Maggies this year, hopefully I can get my hands on a pair of 20.7

it might be a good idea to start a new thread in the member lounge with all the evidence you have, so that more experienced members can check it, and possibly offer some advice to find the best solution. it's very unlikely you'll get your money back. bad luck. certainly, if this is true, it's extraordinary that he can post like nothing happened. IMO
