She released this a few months ago and I just picked it up on Friday. Many classics done by her make you think of a time long ago. Very enjoyable CD.

I am looking at buying this shortly as well. What is the overall sound quality of the recording/mixing/engineering? Hate to fork out the bucks for it to find out it is horribly compressed.

TIA. Cheers.

This music is great, for me, HTPW is the CD of 2006!

SQ is not quite constant through the CD, chancing from song to song but basically, for me on my set, very listenable.

If you love the Leonard Cohen songs HTPW and Blue Alert), yuo might want to try Anjani's Blue Alert, the same two songs on it in a completely different inpterpretation.

I think Dura hit it on the head. It depends on the song but there are only a couple that they appear to have not taken the time on. But overall it is a very well done CD. Worth buying.
