Hey guys,

I have MrSpeakers Mad Dog headphones, an Asus Xonar STX, and a Schiit Magni amp. What would be optimal settings within the software for music? Hip hop, to be specific.

Thanks so much in advance! :)

Assuming your plugging the Magni into the STX's RCA outputs and plugging the Mad Dogs into the Magni.
For music.
Set "Audio Channel" to 2-Channel
Sample Rate, I just leave mine at 96k
Set Audio Output to "Speakers"

Best to have the computer/Xonar volume control set to as high as possible and just use the Magni's volume knob.
Setting the Computer/Xonar to 100% volume might cause "noise" issues, but if you can get it to at least 75% that should be ok.

Also try using the program Foobar2000 (with component upgrades) for playing music audio.
