refault: Actually, I think an info update with a new opinion shouldn't harm - even for old threads. Of course, some of the original posters might not be present anymore to contradict, if they don't agree - but that shouldn't be a reason for unneccessarily limiting our knowledge base on a product.

And just btw, I agree with him - I've got the Creative version of these, which is the HQ-1300, and it sounds fairly groovalizery to me for the price. Fairly good comfort on my head, fairly efficient. If a friend came over and asked me for a priceworthy headphone recommendation for unamped soundcard use, I'd actually recommend to try that Creative.
