I have just bought some Blueroom MicroPod speakers for use with my MacBookPro. I don't want booming sound out of them (I have turntables setup for that
) but I do want some decent quality sound.
I'm going to make a mini>speaker cable wire this week so when they come I can at least listen to them, but do I need to purchase an amp do you think?
I've been looking at the Tube Headphone amps and think they're pritty cool, some of them have speaker outs on them too, but maybe I can stick with my mini>speaker cable setup and add in a little crappy USB amplifier???
What are your guys opinions on this stuff?
Thanks
Christian
P.s. Anyone know where I can get a QED mini jack (3.5mm) they look soooo good but only seem to come with their built wires. Or if anyone know another really good looking jack, the ones at Maplin's suck.
