Well I've been looking at getting a PCI Emu 0404 recently for my main PC, but I had a though. I may be getting a MBP for my birthday, and I thought that I may want better sound on that too.

How good is the standard sound on MBP's? I would just be using my SR80s.

If not, can anybody suggest a solution that would work with both my main PC and the macbook, and is easily switchable between the two? (assuming USB probably here).
Hopefully under £100, if that's possible :S

I have an older (Core Duo) MBP 17 and the analog out sounds ok but It is much better with
my MOVE (http://www.meier-audio.homepage.t-online.de/index.htm).

beware the hissing/bg noise of the move! (or so i have heard), other wise it would be an awesome unit!
