I have been looking for a better solution for my Macbook Pro and have been thinking about getting this rig setup but I have a problem as I don't know if this will work. The Solo has a USB-A connection as does my Macbook Pro. I wanted to ask if I can pair these together since the Solo and the Macbook Pro has the same USB-A connection. The Amp section from the Solo should be no problem.
 
Please help a fellow head-fier in need.

You cant connect your MBP to your Solo. Only an iDevice would work with the Solo.

Does anyone know if an Apogee Duet 2 can be hooked from MBP > Apogee Duet 2 > Amp?

FYI, the new algorythm Solo DB launched tomorrow should work.
