I've been using my macbook on the road / portable, connected with just 3.5mm plug into an RSA Hornet, and it just does not sound anywhere close to my home setup so I'd like to improve on it.
Now you've got these incredibly handy portable amps with DAC's in it, like Predator,Pico, and new coming iQube.
How do DAC's in devices like this compare to the inbuilt DAC in macbook?
And maybe it's possible to give a comparison to Ipod / Duet?
