Hi all,

So I'm selling my AV receiver and 5.1 surround speakers in favour of a more personal set-up! I'm tired of looking at speakers around my living room, they're an eye-sore. Anyways...

I have an Apple TV 3 and a MacBook Air that I'd like to use as the sources and I'm thinking of getting the Little Dot DAC and Little Dot MKIII to power some headphones (to be determined).

I'm looking to spend around £400 on the DAC and amp, then I plan on buying some suitable headphones at a later date (few weeks) and I think my budget for those will be about £150. Any suggestions?

Does that sounds like a decent set-up? I'm open to other suggestions.

I'm looking to buy some hi-res audio, will that DAC and amp handle 24/196 okay? Or will I have to spend mega-bucks to hear an appreciable difference with 24/196?

Thanks in advance, Ketty.
