Whew, so the Macaw GT600s model is out. 1dynamic + 1BA
I own the GT100S "giant killer" model that's an inverted dynamic.

Anyone try out the new GT600S yet & can compare the sound against the GT100S? - wondering if this is a giant killer part 2.

Looking forward to it is well. Just picked up a cheap GT100s. Not sure what happened to my original set...(damn booze)

People don't seem to be paying much attention to this new one...it's kinda the same case as the Ostry KC09. Sophomore spump or something.

Just got my gt600S. Initial impressions with the silver filter is that everything seems a bit more recessed. Probably needs to get those drivers moving more.
One thing I've been trying are the filters from the GT100S set since they're longer and might be different.

Slowly writing my review. Hoping to have it up early next week. Too much on the go right now. Keep in mind the GT600s is one of those earphones that needs power to shine. A lot like the Havi B3 series iems in that regard.

Careful installing the GT100s filters. Threading is finer on the GT600s so you could end up damaging the housings.

I've used my headphone amps on them but it still sounds recessed.
I just noticed my GT100s has much better insertion than the GT600s (former goes deeper into my canal, latter more like sits on top of my canal)
Anyone try double/triple flange eartips on these? Prolly will pick up a double flange somewhere.

Which parts sound recessed? Mids? Everything can't be recessed at the same time.

Oh, i meant recessed as compared to the GT100s.
It's where you have poor isolation (in this case poor fit) so that everything sounds recessed & when you turn it up everything sounds boomy because you got a bad seal.

I'll play a little acherologist here. I bought GT600s via Massdrop. They are really nice IEMs, IMO better than my MEE P1 and equal competitor to Audeo PFE 111 and Aune E1. However I have problems with getting a good seal. So far Fiio F3's tips seem to fit best, but it's still not perfect.
I thought about getting some Spinfits. Do you know which Spinfit models are suitable for this IEM? Slightly deeper application would be nice.
