Whaaat?
No operating system to maintain?
What are you doing all your work in BIOS (oh wait, sorry, EFI?)

I've known people to have more problems with macs than PCs. Go figure.

Their aways complaining every time they have a problem getting something to work when there's a new windows update. They always end up calling me to fix there computers. Granted there not as tech savvy as my self but their always wishing they purchased a mac. I've used windows for years and will never go back unless I need to help my family and friends with theirs. Just my personal experience and my opinion of course. So I guess I'm less tech smart with computers because I use a Mac. Go figure...

Do!

Wow, you know how to fix windows computers after having used them for years. That's quite a feat.

All I'm saying a lot my friends, the less tech savvy, are always asking me to help them with their PC's and they would rather have my Mac. I find that amusing because I'm a Mac fan. Wasn't claiming to be anything that I'm not. I don't know computers to the level of a lot of others here but I do know more than the select friends I help. Thats all. And Mac OS hasn't let me down so I don't need to maintain it as I did with my PC to keep everything working properly. Those who have PC's enjoy them. I'm happier with Mac than I was with my PC's. I was just stating my opinion to the original post.

Using a mac doesn't seem to have helped your sense of humor.

Hate Mac's

Building desktop comp's is always fun. Hope to never, ever own a Mac, I hate the software (not going to do hackintosh :P) and they're extremely overpriced. Building a computer is easy these days. I'm 15 now but started when I was 13, I bet a 8 yr old could do it

. $1500 will get you a great comp, monitor etc

Me...I prefer to spend $3200 for some reason....hehe

The price argument against Macs is a pretty frequent one. The reality is, on a purely spec-by-spec basis, Macs will always be more expensive than PCs. It's really hard - in fact, I'd say, impossible - to argue that Apple products make more financial sense than their competitors' if you examine both on a purely technical level. That said, I prefer Mac hardware for aesthetic reasons - to me it often looks and feels more polished and pleasing than that of most PCs. And because of that superior aesthetic, at least in my opinion, Macs are worth a certain premium.
