Hi guys, I have problem with my perian pref. pane. Current ver. installed is 1.1.4, There's a new updated ver. however whenever I tried to install the updated ver. my system preferance freeze up on me. I also tried opening the perian, uninstall it, then when I tried to remove the perian from my pref. pane, my system preference frezze up on me again.
So, in conclusion, I can't get it updated or removed it. Is there a way to forced uninstallation of the perian. I'm using snow leopard.

Remove the following files:
~/Library/QuickTime/Perian.component
~/Library/PreferencePanes/Perian.prefPane
~/Library/Preferences/org.perian.Perian.plist

Try using appzapper >> AppZapper - The uninstaller Apple forgot.
