I'm looking at getting a good pair of headphones to use with my computer. Can the Mac Pro adequately power headphones with 120Ω impedance, or would I need to get a pre-amp or external sound card?

My iMac powers my 300 ohm sennheiser hd650s satisfactorally, but you probably would get the best SQ from an external DAC and amp.
