This may sound weird but i plugged my UE5c's in the headphone jack of my Mac G4 (about three years old) thinking the sound quality should be on par with the output of the ipod (3 gen). Man was i wrong. My computer headphone output sounds a lot better. There were more highs, the bass was cleaned up and a lot more tight. It was an over all improvement from the ipod output. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Yupp, my iMac G5 sounds way better than my iBook G3 sounds better than my iPod. It's a matter of space, components, and powersupply.

That makes sense. I can't wait to hear what a "real" amp is capable of, I am going to order a Headroom Micro tommorow.
