Sooo, I've got a Nintendo New 3ds, that I need some open back headphones for,
at the moment I'm using a sennhesier HD 25-1 II, which operates @ 70ohms with a sensitivity of 120dbs, which means that with 1 watt of power, or 1000 miliwats, it should produce around 120dbs of sound,
My question though is, at max volume I'd say the newNintendo3ds, which I will shorten to n3ds will get the HD25-1 II to around 70dbs, I've not actually measure the sound, but to my ears it's about as loud as a car, which according to a few online sources, average about a 70 db output
So assuming that max output of the n3ds is sufficient to get the HD 25-1 ii to 70 dbs, how can I estimate the max out to another headphone, maybe one with a 30 ohm resistance but only 100db sensitivity?
