Been a while since I've posted, and am a bit lost on the topic.

What's the difference between the M-mod Hornet and Non-M? Does Ray himself sell the M version (are they standard?)

Basically I wanted to see how the Predator was, but I'm rather uneasy with the custom battery. I want something more standard.

The "M" version has a different cap inside if I remember well. I had the normal version and Ray upgraded it to the "M" version for free a month ago. Both versions sound different IMO, the normal version was more round and had less bass while the new version is sharper with good powerful bass and more soundstage. Ray only sells the "M" version now.

BTW, I might sell my Hornet in a close future (like 1-2 weeks) and I'm in Montreal, so we could arrange a local sale if you're interested. [/spam]

I believe the original Hornet (non-M) had a more "tubey" sound to it...
