I apologize if this turns out to be the wrong forum.
I think I am interested in purchasing an M-Audio transit.
I plan to use it for:
laptop -> M-Audio Transit -> Headfive -> Sennheiser HD570s.
I was thinking I may be interested in getting a DAC in the future and this would leave all options open since i'd have a nice Optical output available at that point in time.
I think it's fair to state that the audio quality will beat the pants off of my onboard sound (Toshiba Tecra S1). I was using a Creative Audigy 2NX and this at the time was a nice upgrade but it decided to just stop working all of a sudden and i've been searching for something for a little while now.
Does anyone know of any reputable Canadian retailers who carry this item? NCIX doesn't seem to carry it, Tigerdirct.ca doesn't seem to carry it either. I'm mostly worried about the customs and duties of having it come over the boarder to Canada.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. My wallet hates you. J/K.
