I am new to the whole audiophile scene. In fact, this is my 1st post, so be nice!

I recently got a new audio setup, listed below, and want to get away from my onboard audio. I have been reading these forums for weeks, but can't seem to find a direct comparison of the products I am interested in, so I come to you all looking for help.

I am trying to decide between the m-audio transit or either the foobar II DAC or the Silverstone EB01. Please try and limit suggestions beyond these three products to a similar price range, as I have a max iof $150 to spend total, but would prefer not to go that high if possible.

My current setup -

Asus P5N32 SLI Dlx to Headphone Swith to 1. Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 & 2. MisterX CMoy Headphone amp to Sony MDR-x400s.

I will be upgrading to new headphones later this year, but thats not an option now. I can use either optical or usb from my PC, but do not want to use 1/8" any longer.

The above threads will get you started on this (at least in relation to the silverstone DAC). I know there has been a few threads on here lately asking for siverstone/foobar II comparisons, but nothing that Ive seen so far really does this. Its a good question, though, as Im interested in these as well. The silverstone seems to be getting very favorable reviews so far, even though I don't think a bunch of people have heard it yet.
Welcom to head-fi!

PS. I think Im legally bound to say "Sorry about you wallet" at this point as well...I know I am!
