Hi,
 
I just bought my first sound card and found that the bloody company never made drivers for windows 7. I bought the card seeing that the card was known around the forum but it seems it may have been a long time ago. I wonder if anyone around here use this card with Windows 7 and how. I've googled and tried everything. Tried xp 64x manual install, tried vista compatibility install, tried substituting envy24 drivers. The farthest I can get is to obtain sound with a huge amount of static mixed in. If anyone can enlighten me it would be greatly appreciated. I do hope my first attempt at buying a sound card wasn't a bust.

Yep, been there done those. While the envy driver does work, it gives static. I've tried changing PCI slots without success.
