Interesting, I had no idea M-Audio was selling IEMs. According to that link it's using UE guts, so I guess that would be the reference point for comparing them to other IEMs.

This (I think) has been discussed before.

My "educated guess":
IE-30 = Super.fi 5 Pro
IE-20 XB = Super.fi 5EB
IE-10 = Super.fi 3 Studio

I would hardly consider any super.fi IEM to be reference quality.

Just like Bose claims to deliver new levels of audio performance, but that's besides the point and highly subjective.

dang,,

i got so excited since we have a local distro of m-audio here in the philippines. and seeing how altec lansings im716 is being sold below the etymotics. but checking m-audio's site, im wondering why their prices are waay higher than UEs. i thought rebranding is supposed to be lower.

they say they want to further penetrate the retail market. but with those prices, i doubt it.
