I can't actually afford a new pair of BX5 speakers, but I found a competing model, used, for a price I can afford.
The Microlab SOLO6C are affordable for me, much cheaper than BX5 speakers.
 
The "competing model" is Samson Resolv A6, and I read in a review that it's a bit better, but overall they're very close.
However, no one seems to be familiar with the Samson speakers, so let's instead compare the BX5 with the SOLO6C - are they even comparable?
In my country, the BX5 are 3 times more expensive than the SOLO6C.

I'm fairly sure they come from the same factory where the BX5 D2 are made.

They don't ship to Israel. I can get used BX5a for $250 though, while new Microlab SOLO6C cost $160. But are the BX5a even better?
