Hi,
 
I have this external soundcard, I wanted to use the spdif input to convert the spdif signal (stereo) of my tv but this doesn't seem to work , there is no sound. Is this normal or am I missing something ?

There should be an Maudio control panel. You need to look at that and see if the card is locking to the the digital audio coming in.  Are you sure your TV is not putting out dolby digital or DTS?

This soundcard must be connected to a pc via usb to work.
