Hi All,

I just searched the forum and found a great deal of information about the M-Audio Audiophile USB. I do have a quick question for any current or past owner of the device. Will it function without a live connection to a computer? For instance, can it be used a a headphone amp directly from a CD player with my laptop powered off? Thanks for the help,

No. It will not allow you to monitor incoming signals through the headphone output.
